The Trace Historical Society is asking current and former residents to share photographs, letters and farm ledgers for a new community archive on the changing agricultural landscape around town.
The call follows the recovery of several boxes of negatives during work at the old depot. Most are unmarked. Volunteers have identified portions of Mill Creek Road and the former north produce stand, but many people and locations remain unknown.
Materials may be brought to the depot reading room on Thursday afternoons. Originals will be scanned and returned the same day. Please write names and approximate dates on a separate sheet rather than on the photographs.
