The precautionary boil-water notice issued August 17 for customers north of Depot Square has been lifted. Two consecutive rounds of sampling showed no evidence of contamination.
The notice followed a pressure loss while crews repaired a valve near the water tower. Customers may resume normal use. No further action is required.
